If you have been meaning to send a recipe or more for the New Salem Cookbook but have not done so yet....then please do so today. The more we get recipes from the better our cookbook will be.

Everyone Welcome

There will be an Open Game Night in Fellowship hall this Friday evening, April 5th. Everyone Welcome... Please bring finger foods, drinks, and your favorite games. There will be card playing, board games, dart playing and a Domino game may break out!

Please join us on Sunday, March 31 as Eric Allen from the Kentucky Baptist Convention will lead our Worship Service. We will focus on the North American Mission Board and how we can play a part in this Mission endeavor. Soup and Sandwich Potluck to follow our Worship Service!

We at New Salem are actively working on a new cookbook that we hope to have available later this year. If you have ever attended New Salem we would like to have a recipe or recipes from you to put in our cookbook that will be called Precious Memories from New Salem Baptist Church. You can send your recipes to the Church at 632 New Salem Church Road, Vine Grove, Ky. 40175.

Eric Allen from the Kentucky Baptist Convention will be leading our service on March 31st. The topic will be North American Missions and how we can help. After the Worship Service, Eric will join us for a soup and sandwich potluck meal where we can ask questions and receive guidance on an individual basis. Please join us and bring a friend!

New Salem has started the process of developing and printing a NEW cookbook. We are in need of recipes to make this a successful project. Everyone has their favorite dish and we are asking you share it with the rest of us. ALL recipes need to be turned in to Magdalene Drake by April 28th. More information to come as the project progresses.

UPDATE: we have found a home for the kittens. Thanks for sharing! These two sweet kittens were left at the church. Please let us know by 2 pm Wednesday, June 21st if you can take one or both of them. If not, we will take to the shelter. Thank you! *the gray one is female and the white/gray one is male.
